Russian artist Alexander Iacovleff was a master of painting as well as the graphic arts representative of the neo-classical trend in the modern movement. Born in St. Petersburg on the 12th of June 1887 to the family of a maritime officer, he studied at the Academy of Arts under D. Kardovsky from 1905-1913.
